The 2003 Skate & Surf Festival's 'Cool Things Village' is full for now, but we're still taking applications should
openings become available closer to the event. Upon submitting your application, you will be emailed with your place number on the waiting list, and then contacted again after 4/4 should more openings become available.

Concerts East, Incorporated reserves the right to accept or deny any application submitted to rent a table / booth at the Skate & Surf Festival 2003. Rental fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable. Applications for food / beverage vending will not be considered. Vendors seeking to sell bootleg merchandise or merchandise being offered for sale by individual Skate & Surf Festival 2003 artists will be denied.

PRICE STRUCTURE & REGULATIONS

1-Day space rental: $150.00. Includes one (1) 8-foot banquet table.

3-Day space rental: $350.00 Includes one (1) 8-foot banquet table.

Power will not be available to any vendors.

Space allotted is 10’ x 10’. Vendors will be prohibited from exceeding allotted space. Vendors have the option to purchase multiple table rentals to expand space allotment. Call for pricing.

Each vendor will be allowed a maximum of two (2) people per space rented, no exceptions. Names of vendor personnel must be furnished by Friday, April 18, 2003.

Vendors will not be permitted to tack or nail anything into any Convention Hall walls, nor will vendors be permitted to hand out flyers, handcards, etc. in or around Convention Hall. No vendor or entity will be permitted to hand out, sell or dispense stickers in or around Convention Hall during the Skate and Surf Festival.

Items for sale or giveaway must be approved by Concerts East, Incorporated. NO EXCEPTIONS.

PROVISIONS:

Vendor understands and agrees that any and all items available for sale and/or distribution are subject to approval in advance by Concerts East, Incorporated. Vendors selling and/or distributing items not approved in advance by Concerts East, Incorporated will be subject to expulsion from the event and forfeiture of table rental fees.

Vendors will not be permitted to tack or nail anything into any Convention Hall walls. Vendors are prohibited from handing out materials from any location other than their designated vending space. (For example, vendors may only dispense flyers, etc. from their rented spaces. Vendors will not be permitted to wander and dispense materials.) Booth must be manned by at least one person throughout the duration of the event.

No vendor or entity will be permitted to hand out, sell or dispense stickers in or around Convention Hall during the Skate and Surf Festival 2003.

Vendor understands and agrees Concerts East and Max Cruise, their trustees, administrators, agents, employees, successors and assigns shall have no liability or responsibility, for negligence or otherwise, in connection with any injury that Vendor, it agents, employees, or assigns, if any, sustains or loss of or damage to Vendor’s property. Vendor hereby assumes the risk for any injuries that Vendor, its agents, employees, or assigns, if any, may sustain while at the Skate and Surf Festival 2003 and do hereby remise, release and forever discharge Concerts East and Max Cruise, their trustees, administrators, agents, employees, successors and assigns from any actions, suits, damages, claims or judgments that may result from any injury Vendor, it agents, employees, or assigns, if any, sustains or loss of or damage to any property.

Vendor agrees to indemnify, keep, save, and hold Concerts East and Max Cruise, their trustees, administrators, agents, employees, successors and assigns free from all liability, penalties, losses, damages, costs, expenses, causes of action, claims and judgment arising by reason of any injury or damage to any person or persons, or property of any kind whatsoever, and to whomsoever belonging, including damage to property of Concerts East and Max Cruise, arising solely out of Vendor’s, its agents, employees, or assigns, if any, acts while at the Skate and Surf Festival 2003.

By signing and submitting this form, Vendor agrees to all the terms and conditions stated herein.
